So I made these yummy raw energy balls as a snack yesterday & I just felt so inspired by #EdBalls dancing on Strictly Come Dancing that I decided to name this recipe after him!
What you need
- #blondiloxyourbowl blend of cacao, chia seeds & cacao nibs (2 tablespoons)
- 4 dates (I use medjool dates)
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
- A wee splash of water
- Extra cacao powder for dusting #EdBalls in
What you do…
Add 2 tablespoons of #blondiloxyourbowl into a blender & blend into a fine powder.
Next add in the dates + half a teaspoon of the coconut oil & blend mix together. Then add the remainder of the coconut oil (only if needed) & a wee splash of water to bring the mix together.
On a separate plate or chopping board sprinkle out some cacao powder (cacao nibs or coconut flakes would work great too).
Roll the mix out of the blender into balls- I find this mix creates 3 #EdBalls. Next roll the balls into the cacao powder to lightly dust & then pop them into the fridge for about 20/30mins (You can also leave & keep them in the fridge if you prefer). Take out & enjoy your #EdBalls !
